Easy Cauliflower Mash Recipe: A Quick Side Dish

Happy New Year!! Has everyone started their resolutions? Did you even make any? I think everyone usually says they are going to eat better in the new year so here is a healthier side dish option. It doesn’t take very long to make and it is super easy. Recipe below.

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Cut your cauliflower into florets.
  2. Steam cauliflower.
  3. Place cauliflower in food processor or blender and combine milk, butter, salt and pepper.
  4. Blend until smooth.



My mash was a bit runny. You could probably use less milk. I also added a slice of cheese while I was blending to give it some extra taste. They were pretty good. Nothing beats mashed potatoes, but I think it’s a good alternative.
