Bacon Wrapped Smokies

I hope everyone had a great holiday! I hosted Christmas dinner this year and with dinner comes appetizers. This one was a hit, this was the only dish that wasn’t leftover. Recipe below.

Ingredients:

1 package little smokies

1 package bacon 

1 stick of butter

1 cup brown sugar

Directions:

1. Cut bacon in half and wrap a strip around each smokie. Place in oven safe pan.

2. Melt butter and pour over smokies. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over smokies. (I think 1 stick of butter is too much. The bacon won’t become crispy of its soaked in butter. I spooned out a lot of butter during cooking.)

3. Cook on 350 for 1 hour or until bacon is crispy.

   
 
Very easy recipe and they are so delicious!  This is definitely a favorite in this family.
