Turnovers

I have an easy dessert for you today. It doesn’t take long and really doesn’t require a lot of ingredients. I did use the dough press from Friday’s blog and it worked wonders! Recipe below!

Ingredients:

Pillsbury Pie Crust

Your favorite pie filling

Directions:

1. Roll out the pie dough and using the bottom of the dough press, cut out circles.

2. Place the circle onto the dough press and load up with your favorite filling and close the press to pinch the sides.

3. Bake at 425 for 30 mins or until brown.

You can still make these if you don’t have the dough press, but if you wanted to get a dough press you can get one here http://amzn.to/20lMupJ

They were good, tasted a lot like pie more than a flaky turnover.  I made cherry and apple, and both were delicious.
Enjoy!!
