It has been hard finding recipes I want to try lately, but this one definitely caught my eye and knew I needed to try it. It is easy, a bit messy while making, but absolutely delicious! Recipe below.
Pillsbury Breadsticks (I couldn’t find them so I used just the Pillsbury dough and cut it into strips)
2/3 cup of sugar
1.5 cups of cinnamon
3 tablespoons butter
1. Melt the butter in a bowl
2. Mix cinnamon and sugar
3. Take your strips of dough or breadsticks and dip them in the bowl of butter. Then roll the strip in the cinnamon sugar mixture
4. Twist strip and place on baking sheet
5. Bake on 375 degrees for 12-14 minutes
Side note: make sure you have all ingredients before starting. Big thank you to Judy for letting me borrow some sugar!
You can also make cream cheese frosting to dip the twists. These were so good and took no time at all to make. If you are in a rush and need quick sweet snack, you can easily make these.
